HSBC

Background

The HSBC group is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. HSBC’s international network comprises around 10,000 offices and 312,000 associates, offering a complete range of services to over 125 million customers in 86 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa. HSBC France has a network of 380 offices, 11,700 associates and is grouped with CCF (Crédit Commercial de France), Union de Banques à Paris, Banque Hervet, Banque de Picardie and Banque de Baecque Beau.

Challenge

To create a visual identity and environmental graphics for the communal spaces of HSBC France’s Paris offices, situated in La Dèfence business district. The aim was to effectively create something that would put across the values of this great international group and positively affirm their unique qualities and characteristics influenced by a multiracial and intergenerational worldwide approach.

Solution

Angelini Design was able to creatively promote HSBC France’s worldwide approach through a series of visual concepts, integrated with a coherent graphic design format, installed within the internal areas of HSBC Investments department in relation to the image of the group. By creating an inspiring, unusually arranged, monochrome photomontage which by associating symbols from different cultures builds a reassuring fantasy world through a geography of the imagination and dreams.
