Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) is Italy’s leading manufacturer of stainless steel flat products. For Tube 2018, one of the industry’s major fairs, the Terni company entrusted Angelini Design with creating the best exhibition space to connect with its audience.
Reprising the “housing unit” concept it launched with AST in 2016, for the Dusseldorf event Angelini Design went beyond any traditional booth and created a real AST home, with a two-story structure that totaled 96 square meters and represented, with its verticality, the company’s drive towards growth and evolution.
The style was contemporary and technological, with a dominant palette of white and AST’s institutional blue. Strictly functional spaces, with a clear line between open reception and business area, tied in with essential design in which bold lines were softened by the transparency of glass.
Angelini Design was also in charge of all the communication tools AST offered its visitors: two interactive, touchscreen vertical displays, a large video-wall and a special steel panel with 3D images silkscreen-printed on it.
Conceived and implemented by Angelini Design, the project highlighted products and presented visitors with the specific use of AST’s stainless steel, while also effectively conveying the values and vision at their core.
