The Ferrari 488 Spider opens a new chapter in the brand from Maranello’s long history of the convertible sports cars. Angelini Design created and developed the model’s new communication concept, putting together a monograph for the launch of the new two-seater sports vehicle, available in all Ferrari dealerships worldwide.
To Ferrari a catalog is not just advertising material, it’s intended as an actual book in which an automobile is presented minutely, underlining every single detail: it’s the primary publication that tells the story of a car.
For this reason Angelini Design oversaw every aspect of the project: the creative concept, graphical format, the subject index, photographic art direction, location and shoot as well as more practical and executive aspects, such as the structure and materials. The photographs were taken by Roberto Carrer and post-production was handled by Joan Cuní .
Taking cue from what had been done for the launch of the 488 GTB, Angelini Design conceived and created a customized slipcase also for the Spider version, laser-cut so as to highlight the dynamism of the vehicle.
