With over 52,000 visitors a year, Artissima is Italy’s most important contemporary art fair and has been channeling and promoting experimentation and research since 1994.
Almost 200 galleries from the world over take part in Artissima every year. In addition to the trade show, the event includes three art sections directed by curators and museum directors of international standing, dedicated to emerging artists, performance art, and the rediscovery of great pioneers in contemporary art.
Lancia, part of the FCA Group and always a supporter of research and creative talent, is sponsoring the fair for the third time.
Performance art, a special focus of this edition of Artissima, has been pivotal in the collaboration between the two brands. Thus Angelini Design has embraced it as the theme of the second edition of the “Ypsilon St’Art. Percorsi in movimento” project, a social communication platform that engages art lovers, experts and Ypsilon fans with guided visits, workshops, video events and a dedicated space at the fair.
The setup is inspired by the concept of “New Elegance in Motion”, with a multi-level background and sensational imagery tying in with the brand’s creative references. Overlapping a variety of materials and adding a screen to broadcast an inspiring video contributes to the overall dynamic effect.
